#756 Photo paper printing is overexposed

I have a Canon Pixma MP280.

When I print something, using as paper type "photo paper" of any kind, the image becomes overexposed, even losing colors.

If I print on the photo paper as plain paper, the colors are correct. But the image may have lines, due to the printer printing faster.

This is a probably a dupe of #757. Alberto, would you be willing to follow that bug? I am trying to figure out what happened and how to fix it. Would be nice for all of us to collaborate there.
