#30 plug-in twain crash on version 2.2.8

When i want to acquire image by

File/acquire/TWAIN...

I get GIMP Message

Plug-In crashed: "twain"
(/Applications/Gimp.app/Contents/Resources/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/
twain)

The dying Plug-In may have messed up GIMP's internal state.
You may want to save your images and
restart GIMP to be on the safe side.
