#6 At launch you cannot connect to daemon

Comeon people, for a simple thing like this you hope I can:
a) atleast connect to my local daemon (I could last version)
b) I can start the giFT daemon

Please, I just downloaded the full compiled program, I have trashed
the preferences twice, nothing is working at all...

I have no idea why this great app suddendly stopped working...
Last version was good and one day I log on and I can't connect, no
reason, nothing in the log, nada...

Please Help, thanks.
