Several days ago, I launched and played around with
some NetSpades games on jzaun.com. The end result was
that two spades tables were left in the room, fubar. I
assumed it was just the game server that was messed up,
but when I tried to join a game (which ggzd claimed had
an open seat) and couldn't I suspected this was not the
case.
Last night I pointed them out to Justin. He logged
into his machine and killed one of the game servers.
The results was that ggzd sent my client (which was
using the same account that had launched the tables,
although it was a different login session) a launch
error message.
So, obviously ggzd thought I was still at the table.
I'm not sure how this happens, but once it does ggzd
will not detect the error and the table will remain
like that indefinitely.
We could make a bug like this less significant if we
allowed admin users to kill a table.
