[ggt-devel] Uneeded asserts patch

mail being weird....hope this isn't a dupe

I am tired of all the warnings I get about asserting that a unsigned is
greater than or equal to 0 since it can't being unsigned and all...
gcc version 3.4.2 20041017 (Red Hat 3.4.2-6.fc3) is the one who really
complains about it.
