Summary: document GMTL's philosophy

Initial Comment:
I had Ben describe the general idea behind GMTL... 
such as the concept that you can convert between any
two types with gmtl::set and gmtl::make

Once I learned that, using gmtl became a LOT easier.

I also think common operations such as getting
translation/scale/rotation out of a matrix should be
documented in some sort of tutorial/FAQ section.

file.
