[ggt-devel] debug and logging

do we really want to depend on vapor for debugging and logging? i don't
think we'll find many people that will wish to use gmtl if it has such a
monlithic dependency and only for debugging. perhaps we can duplicate some
of the code from vapor in gmtl so we get the functionality we like but not
actually depend on vapor.
