Why i should allocate more memory for Minecraft?

This is a common question, and there are a lot of answers. In fact you could need to allocate more memory for your Minecraft because if you like using a lot of Minecraft's mods and/or mantain an high graphic quality level (like using Optifine's graphic options) your Minecraft could remain without memory, causing lag or crashing the game, even if you've high-end hardware (especially in that case!).
