GFtbox is a MATLAB program for simulating biological growth processes. A technical paper describing the purpose and methods of the software is due to appear in PLoS Computational Biology on 16 June 2011.

Documentation for this software is in a rather preliminary state. The software itself is under continuous development, a process which tends to leave a lot of rough edges that there has not been time to smooth off.

Because we may be updating the software rather frequently with minor changes, we have not used the usual a.b.c type of version numbering. Instead, different versions are identified by the release date and SVN revision number.
