Issues with Format Launcher and Populating Grid Data

Good Morning. Two issues here,
When going to MAKEHAZARD, it allows me to make the hazard and merge the hazard. However, when going to the actual Format Launcher and going to the Hazard Product that I just created, it says "NO HAZARDS TO REPORT". I am trying to figure out how to fix this but I can not find any way to get the text product for my hazard to actually format and not say No Hazards.
I am having trouble with populating grids with model data. Where do I put the folder and run the commands etc.
This also brings a question for me. The GFS model never ingests. When you do the command, it just opens the site, and nothing else happens; the model does not ingest. Also, would it be possible for me to add the NBM on my own?
Also one more question: the new smart tool dialogue does not work, and I cannot add a new smart tool. Is there something I am missing?

Are you able to actually issue the hazard using the Format Product button or does it also say No Hazards to Report?
I do have this issue as well. I just noted some other issues here as well. Probably should open another ticket for my issues.
For 2, the simplest way to get some model data (spcifically NAM) is to:
(as root)
mkdir /scratch
chmod 1777 /scratch
Then (as the normal gfe user NOT root)
gfei -m ifpIngest
What about the issues pertaining to the formatter launcher?
I've created a hazard and merged it, then attempt to run the launcher as a wsw (since its a winter product) and it says that there are no hazards to report. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for this! It really helps but can you answer my first question as well on creating the actual text product for hazards? A lot of people are having this issue.
Try using version 1.14.4 for products using Hazard grids. There was a bug (which was fixed in 1.14.4) which caused new hazards to not be picked up by the formatters. I was able to generate a FireWx product now.
