hey people read the directions before you ask how to install it;
Ok, for everybody who is having problems, try the following
procedure:
1. Make sure you have Xcode installed (I am using Xcode 1.5,
not sure
what version of Xcode it will work with).
2. Copy the source folder from the disk image to some location
on a real
disk.
3. Download my version getTunes.java into source folder you put
on a
real disk, replacing the version in that folder. For those who
see the
source code in their browser window when click on the link,
right-click
(ctrl-click) on the link and select "Download linked file as..."
(Safari) or
something similar.
4. In the source folder on your disk, double-click getTunes.xcode.
This
should start up Xcode with the getTunes project selected.
5. In Xcode, click the build button at the top of the window
(a hammer
icon).
6. You should see a status bar near the top of the Xcode window,
when it
reads "Build succeeded" you can exit Xcode.
7. In the build folder in the source folder that you put on
your disk, you
should see a new getTunes app, move to where ever you like and
use it.
Other general comments:
I am not the developer of getTunes, just a user who found that
it wasn't
working, so I fixed it for myself and posted the fix here. As
such, I have
no desire to post a binary version. If the getTunes developer
chooses to
incorporate my fix, and post a new version that would be great.
The only modification I made was to line 350 of getTunes.java,
where I
changed the AppleScript to be run to "pause\n selection of front
window".
Good luck,

I downloaded get tunes but nothing seems to happen, when I click add selection
nothing changes, same goes for download files. Should i be able to see
something happening, or if not, and the programme is actually working where
do the tracks go? Cheers
