the command:

msgfmt -d c:\ --java2 --resource PETER --locale LOC
nls\generic\Gui.pot

fails. The output is:

msgfmt: cannot create a temporary directory using
template "\/msgPosPjb": Invalid argument

I'm working on W2000 SP4 with the latest versions
of gettexttools and iconv
