I have a Salckware 12.0 full install. Downloaded the 0.3.5.
As root :
# installpkg getpkg-0.3.5-i386-1.tgz

# tar xvzf getpkg-0.3.5-i386-1.tgz

Ok, that must have been my download. It's just fine now. Need update for 12.0 though.
