Greetings,

86Bytes

Welcome to 86bytes

86 bytes started off as a final year b.tech thesis; code named "Project Scramble" by Saileswar Mahakud, Smruti Padhy and Sanjaya Behera in March 2010.It was initially built (in .net) as a code editor supporting C/C++ and Java but later on during June 2011, it was completely re-written in Java by Saileswar Mahakud for Atmel Atmega 16 microcontrollers.Currently in beta stage this IDE can be used to write, build and burn programs onto Atmega 16 microcontrollers using C/C++ (C99 standard). The software is available under GPL v3.

Documentation for 86 bytes will be available soon.

The developers are hoping for the first beta version to be available around the end of November 2011.In the mean time the team is integrating more and more features optimized specifically for beginners.

Thank you for joining us.

Regards,
Saileswar Mahakud,

for 86 bytes.
