    Hello,

When i use "synchronise network against dns" with a /24 network : no problms
When i use "synchronise network against dns" with a /21 network : the request search 2 minutes and stop without errors messages, logs and no results !

Is it possible to scan network against dns with a /21 BitMask ?

    Regards.

Actually, it works with some networks /21, but not all.
It doesn't work when the network is on some specific vlans.
But it works by snmp !

    Hi
Thanks a lot for reporting that.
The "synchronise network against dns" vía web is only supported for networks with a bitmask >=22. In the actual version it is enabled for bigger networks by mistake and will be disabled with next patch. To scan networks with smaller bitmask use the scpript ip_update_gestioip_dns.pl which you find in /usr/share/gestioip/bin.
SNMP scan is working because it scans only the active IPs and not the whole networks.
    Regards
    Marc
