#1 Mailing List

We are creating our group at sf.net . Is our first time ins sf.net. We have to discuss our software developing and our communication is not good at the present moment. We are not being successful in talk to each other using the mailing list. My questions are:

1) I have created the mailing list. All the project members automatically belongs to the mailing list, or they have to do anything else to begin receive any information?

2) All emails that i send to the mailing list email, reaches the project members? I think that is not happening....
3) Is any document that we can read to improve our communication?
