I would go this route as well as it would be quite easy to create C-based  
bindings for both SpiderMonkey/Tamarin and .NET by either embedding calls  
to Mono directly into the C application or by using P/Invoke.  Either way  
it will work, and you can use #ifdef, #else, and #endif to differentiate  
between the SpiderMonkey/Tamarin and .NET bindings.
