The program defaults to colors which are pretty much useless. A better option would be to have a persistent customization, where colors and opacity is related to a gerber file extension name.
I'm also very interested in this one!
Again, it is now 8 years later, this seems to be an easy fix to associate the gerber file extensions with a specific color. Anybody?
