I wanted to create a stencil, so I took the five PCBs paste layers in gerbv and aligned them so that they wouldn't overlap.

The "export to gerber, merge visible layers" function then ignored the "rotate 180 degrees" setting of one of the PCBs.

My gerbv says it's version 2.6.0.

Can you check merged file with Normal view?

I created an assembly of "the same layer, but from different designs". I then moved them around so that they would not overlap. This looked good on the screen, but after exporting "merge visible layers", looking at the merged file, showed that the rotate setting was ignored.

So I think I've already looked at the merged file as you ask.

Can you attach original and merged files, so I can reproduce this problem?

I have the same problem. You don't need any special files, any gerbers.
The program ignores all and any rotation.

Agreed. I just retested with just one stencil-layer-file that I modified today.

    PROCEDURE:
open the stm...GTP file twice, Move the second to 2000,2000 mils (click apply to see what "just moved" looks like!), and select: rotate 180 degrees. It will now partially overlap with the other instance of itself. EXPORT as RS247, merged visible layers, and you get the file I saved and attached as "test.GTP": no overlap, just the move.

Am am working on it. For now modified code can correctly rotate
st32f042_usb_spi.GTP but for aperture macro more work should be done.
