gerbv — a Gerber (RS-274X) viewer

Very fast. Lightweight. Portable, only a standalone EXE in Windows. No need to install. No bloatware. No need registrations or internet access. Only 11 megabytes after decompressed. Not needed hundreds of megabytes, nor heavy frameworks or runtime environments for a simple task. It simply does the job. And does it well. If the author wants an opinion, the "open/export file" dialogs look is a litte unfamiliar and uncomfortable to windows users. If this is not too difficult, maybe there would be nice if the Windows version could use the "classic" Windows file open/save dialogs. And more important and simple: I miss one button "Open Layer(s)" in the toolbar, it is only accessible by the menu. Other than that, I could not get better.

I would love to thank you my dear, this is more than Excellent, This software is doing its job perfectly, and do not listen to the negative reviews, as they want sell their rubbish software, and this is a fact. Thank you once again and keep doing a good job. Simon

Full of bugs when using tracks with arcs (instead of straight lines with 45°/90°). On some layers design is not vissible/missing. I do not recomend at all this tools for profesional work with this actual version. Note: the Gerber data was generate with Zuken CR-5000 in JAPAN, the issue can be caused due to different language package. Adobe Reader DC had this issue, an now request to download a new language package as extension.

Best Open Gerber viewer ever. Hope someday it will become a Gerber editor too :)
