Thanks Zoran, I'm using my own spatialite DB so I can change the coordinates programatically, that's not a problem. What I would like to do is allow the user to change the position of the vertices on the map by choosing one vertex and draging it. I have tried with a jts geometry on top of a glasspane but still I don't know how allow the selection and drag of the vertices. I wonder if jts is the path to follow or there is another solution.
