[Geotools-admin] website about geotools - project list and commercial support

A couple months ago I tried ask downstream projects for a "welcome page" introducing their developers (if they have any) to the geotools library. That was not really a success :(

Todays blog post about "GeoBatch" (http://geo-solutions.blogspot.com/2011/10/geobatch-public-demo-available.html) makes me want to try again.

How do people feel about:
a) just asking people to send a link to the project
b) if they provide a welcome page we will show the project logo

On a related note I would like to make our commercial support items more visible (currently they are off in the user guide). I would like to follow the same guidelines; links to organisations offering commercial support; and a company logo if they have a specific geotools page. For example GeoSolutions would qualify as they mention GeoTools on their support page; where as LISAsoft would not.
