Hi, i've created feature source FeatureSource<SimpleFeatureType, SimpleFeature> myFeatureSource; and i am using it to store my shapefile's features using myFeatureSource = myShapeFileStore.getFeatureSource(myFeatureTypeName); however, the variable is highlighted and when i place my mouse cursur over it it says variable myFeatureSource not being used, but with the above statement it is, which is meant to be storing my featuretype names. Does anybody know why this is happening? String[] myFeatureTypeNames = myShapeFileStore.getTypeNames(); String myFeatureTypeName = myFeatureTypeNames[0]; In the 09shape lab tutorial it has code similar to that of String[] myFeatureTypeNames = myShapeFileStore.getTypeNames(); String myFeatureTypeName = myFeatureTypeNames[0]; just wondering why is it storing the first value of the array in the string variable? Would you not want to create for loop forexample to store all feature types names?
