The proposal accounts for that (I think that was the whole point wasn't it?)
Chris is in a similar situation when he wants to convert to a different
namespace on the fly. The DataStore api does not load the data set, but instead
leaves it on disk/database.

In both cases the answer is the same, ask for what you want using a specific
FeatureType. The getFeatureReader method is forced to change namespace, or
reproject I suppose, internally as content is fetched.

For namespace we are already able to do this since FeatureType knows about
namespace, to accomplish this for CoordinateSystem we need to teach FeatureType
about CoordinateSystem.
