Dear Geoserver users, I am not sure if this should be posted here or on the OpenLayers list, but I will try here first. I am building an app using Geoserver and OpenLayers, and is based heavily on one of the examples included with OpenLayers (specifically getfeatureinfo.html). This is the line of code that I am interested in. map.events.register('click', map, function (e) { $('nodeList').innerHTML = "Loading... please wait..."; var url = wms.getFullRequestString({ REQUEST: "GetFeatureInfo", EXCEPTIONS: "application/vnd.ogc.se_xml", BBOX: wms.map.getExtent().toBBOX(), X: e.xy.x, Y: e.xy.y, INFO_FORMAT: 'text/html', QUERY_LAYERS: wms.params.LAYERS, WIDTH: wms.map.size.w, HEIGHT: wms.map.size.h}); OpenLayers.loadURL(url, '', this, setHTML); Event.stop(e); So, the user clicks the map and some information is returned from the WMS server based on where they clicked. Sometimes, I see this in the logs of geoserver.. 67658276 [INFO] org.vfny.geoserver.servlets.AbstractService - Service handled 67658309 [SEVERE] org.geotools.data.jdbc.QueryData - There's code leaving readers or writers unclosed (you got an unclosed QueryData object, which is usually held by a reader or a writer).
