[GeoNetwork-users] Problems in finding the source data download function in Geonetwork version 4.2.5.0

Dear Geonetwork users,

I'm a new user of Geonetwork software and I'm implementing a set of metadata associated to my Agency sources, which are files of numerical simulations, documents, etc.
I've a problem in associating a source of data, namely a file to be downloaded, to a metadata record generated by means of Geonetwork software.
As an example, I refer to the download service embedded in this metadata file (https://data.apps.fao.org/map/catalog/srv/eng/catalog.search#/metadata/5a1ea405-3c17-48d3-9ddb-da284bcdeb90)

Our IT support service has installed the software version  4.2.5.0 and I use it to input metadata records through the administrator interface.

In particular, I would like to activate the download function for the sources associated to the metadata. The sources data files to be downloaded are stored in an area of our cluster, a filesystem, which is not the same where Geonetwork is installed, so I need to specify the path to reach those files.

Unfortunately I cannot found how to activate the download service by means the Geonetwork interface when I'm filling in the metadata templates, nor I'm able to activate it from the administrator setting.

Can you share with me your experience with the download services, in metadata files, through Geonetwork?

Any suggestion is welcome.
