I'm just getting myself aquainted with the GeoNetwork framework, and was
wondering if someone could give me a pointer.
By way of background, what I'm doing is implementing a timer task to
periodically check the online-status of all services recorded in the
catalogue. This info would be stored in the database, and then
presented on a "Service Status" page.
What I was wondering was how I could submit the query for recorded
services to geonetwork without having to go through the 'front door', so
to speak. That is, instead of submitting it to the service URL using
java to perform an HTTP POST, I was wondering if there was a way to pass
the xml document directly to the relevant code?
Any advice would be very much appreciated. It's hopefully just a case
of getting started...
