Looks like pg jdbc3 drivers for postgresql 8.x and above are kind of
picky about type casting in jdbc - you get errors when migrating 2.0.3
sites: not able to convert string values to integer columns(!) - kind of
annoying and not present in other drivers which do autocasting ok as far
as I can see - switching back to 7.4 jdbc3 drivers (from
http://jdbc.postgresql.org/download.html#archived) seems to revert to
less sensitive behaviour and still work. Anyone else noted these
problems or had problems with 7.4 jdbc drivers and 8.x postmaster?
