#6 Can't get GeoIP nor GeoIPfree to work

I recently upgraded awstats to version 6.8 and lost the country stats. It doesn't show the breakdown of visitors by countries anymore.
In my conf file i've removed the '#' for the MaxMind GeoIP:
LoadPlugin="geoip GEOIP_STANDARD /plugins/GeoIP.dat"

I have the dat file in the plugins folder.

Now, when i update awstats i get the following:

Setup ('./awstats.moebius.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

What am i missing?

I'm quite new to this so, please keep that in mind.
