First of all, thank you for all the work you've put in this library. It is an excellent tool, and the only library that is thorough enough for my use case.
I would like to use your recently added Intersect class, but I see that the Python wheel seems to be a few versions behind. Are there any plans of updating it to the latest version of the library?

No... The Python package contains just a subset of the functionality of the C++ library and the Python package will only be updated if there's some update to the core geodesic routines. At present, I have no plans to port the functionality of the Intersect class to Python.
