#80 File copying is slow, with sad progress information

Doing a huge drive-to-drive copy with gentoo seems slower than doing the same copying with Nautilus. Not sure why, but it should be investigated and (hopefully) fixed.

See the attached progress dialog as a reference, Nautilus seems to manage 20+ MB/s on the same hardware.

Also, the progress information is saddening:

1. More numerical feedback! How many files and bytes done?
2. The ETA is simplistic, and not very user-friendly for long durations (such as, sadly, the one in the image).
