#28 Fedora Core 3 problems and some solutions

Hi..

I'm new to gens so I apologize if this is dumb. :-)

I just built gens under FC3. It works as long as I
have the sound disabled. Otherwise it segfaults.

The zip file that the current source comes in unzips
incorrectly. I had to use unzip -a. Otherwise the
configure scripts have DOS \r characters causing them
to fail with bizarre errors when run.

The configure script failed to create the dirs under
src/gens/.deps. I created them manually.

It compiled without problems under gcc 3.4.2.

I don't know if it's supposed to but it ejects or
closes the CD tray (if it's open, it closes it, and
vice versa) when run. That's pretty annoying.

Any tips on the sound?
