Genode OS Framework release 24.02

The fresh release commences year 2024 with a profound redesign of our audio infrastructure that addresses routing and mixing of multi-channel audio streams at flexible sample rates, the dynamic starting and removal of audio sources and sinks, and latency optimization. Another highlight is the new feature of using Sculpt OS as a remote test target for the Goa SDK during application development. Now, Genode applications can be developed and tested in a quick and uniform way, regardless of whether you're testing directly on a Linux-based development environment, on a Sculpt PC reachable via a local network, or on a PinePhone connected to the same wireless access point.

Further, the release brings a new, from-scratch ported TCP/IP stack based on Linux 6.1, which concludes our transition to the consistent use of our modern Linux device-driver environment across all Linux-based drivers and protocol stacks; versatile handling of human interface devices including motion-event calibration; multi-client support for the Vivante GPU driver; and driver-related preparatory steps required for the upcoming suspend-resume support in Sculpt OS.

All details are covered in the release documentation of version 24.02...
