Genode OS Framework release 14.08

The main theme of Genode 14.08 is its new GUI architecture that scales to modern flexible and dynamic GUIs but also maintains the strong security of the nitpicker approach. Further, the release improves virtualization on the NOVA microhypervisor with SMP support in Seoul and networking in VirtualBox. Our custom base-hw kernel got a boost on ARM hardware, OpenVPN was ported to Genode and DDE Linux was updated to upstream version 3.14.5.
