    Hi,

    I am really happy to open up my first discussion.
    I am trying for genode on a secure tablet.

    I am following Genode Operating system framework 18.05.
    Everything went fine until building configuration. I have emulated ARM QEMU and the directories was built.
    But when am trying to run the
    make run/demo KERNEL =hw
    command , the following error is occured.

    /bin/bash: /home/kama-sir-lab/genode/tool/run/run: /usr/bin/expect: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
    Makefile:312: recipe for target 'run/demo' failed
    make: *** [run/demo] Error 126

    Please help me as am new to this domain.

    Hello Ayesha,

    this error notifies you about an essential tool missing on your Linux installation. In this particular case you are required to install expect from your distribution sources. Please also refer to the documented prerequisites in the Genode Foundations book downloadabel from https://genode.org/ Chapter 2.
