Version 1.0 of the Genie Framework has now been released. For more

From the release notes:
 
This is a complete distribution package of version 1.0 of the 
Genie web application framework. 
 
This software (but not the third-party libraries it includes) 
is published under the terms of the BSD license available in 
the LICENSE.txt file.
 
This distribution includes software developed by the Apache 
Software Foundation (http://www.apache.org/). Please see the
according license agreements, which can be found in the lib 
directory of this distribution.
 
Version 1.0 of the Genie framework is the first version 
released as open source. However, the framework has been used 
successfully in a production environment for about 1 1/2 years. 
It can be considered to be of production quality and stable. 
Nevertheless, the usual disclaimers apply (see LICENSE.txt).
 
Documentation for this software can be found in the doc 
directory of this distribution. Start by opening doc/index.html 
with your web browser.
