Geneur is an Open Source scheduler for GRID. It is based on variation of genetic algorithms. Geneur uses backfill scheduling algorithm to create first genetic population.

Features

  • Scalability. Distributed architecture of Geneur allows enlarge computing resources to find better timetable with growth of complexity as O(D). Where D is a number of processes of all tasks at the one virtual unit.
  • Quality of timetables. At worst algorithm can work like as backfill algorithm. This occures because first generation of timetables for genetic algorithm is created with backfill algorithm.
  • Integration into GRID. Geneur system can be integrated into GRID middleware Globus Toolkit.
  • JSDL-WG supporting. Descriptions of user tasks for scheduling can be created with JSDL-WG language.

Clear visibility and insights into how employees work. Even remotely

Our computer monitoring software allows employees, field contractors, and freelancers to manually clock in when they begin working on an assignment. The application will take screenshots randomly or at set intervals, which allows employers to observe the work process. The application only tracks activity when the employee is clocked in. No spying, only transparency.
