Gene Studio is a software for design and analysis of DNA molecules.
It also allow to estimate molecular weight of a protein.  It can be used for modeling of
molecular cloning, sequence analysis and review of DNA molecules. Gene Studio can opens
molecule files in FASTA and GeneBank format and stores information in XML files in GML format
(Gene Studio Meta Language).

Unfortunately I was unable to find safe and reliable way to build an installer for gene studio for
new version of java. To install new version of gene studio unpack it to destination folder, to run 
program execute GeneStudio.jar on Windows or GeneStudio.sh on Mac/Unix/Linux. You also can run GeneStudio 
using command java -jar [Path to  GeneStudio]\GeneStudio.jar or javaw -jar [Path to  GeneStudio]\GeneStudio.jar. This command may be used in shortcuts. 
It is also possible to unpack new version of GeneStudio to old installation folder without uninstalling 
old version. All files in this case should be overwritten.
I am sorry for this inconvenience.

In Gene Studio version 1.41
1. Bugs with search on chromatogram are corrected;
2. The inerface of ABI viewer window is improoved.

In Gene Studio version 1.40
1. Added possibility to view ab1 files;
2. Added possibility to convert multiple ab1 files to fasta;
3. Improved ability to work with Gene BSank files.

In Gene Studio version 1.31
1. Improved parsing of gene bank files;
2. Fixed the problem with CRISPR options window on Mac;
3. The list of sites to be marked on the construct is now ordered by alphabet.

In Gene Studio version 1.30

1. Added ability to search CRISPR sites;
2. Added search famous sites as M13 primers, abtibiotic markers, etc;
3. Fixed multiple bugs.
