I can send you a Template (DocBook XML). This is my standard rendition of their SRS. So the outline is slightly modified and is commented at each section. We will be free to use the template without legal implication as it is a work of my own, simply based on the recommendations. > While a think it is very important to use standards > where possible, in an open > source project I think it is more important to only > use free and open > standards. > At work we are using Mil-Std-498. Just that in general MIL is a little dated and does not fall nicely into place with ISO std's such as ISO 18019. > > Secondly, I suggest we use Simple Docbook XML > instead of Docbook XML. Anyone who can modify the SRS should be at a level where the have a broader perspective of XML. If they are editing the SRS I assume that they have at least an understanding of XML, XSL, XPath, XInclude, XPointer etc. But if you feel that sdocbook must be used, I will use it. Though now I will have to create a new template based on the sdocbook type. Sean Wheller __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
