I created very simple windows script for geotools project and I think I can
generalize it for generguide needs a little bit after first release of maven plugin.

Yes, I think it is very good idea. It would be the most portable solution.
But maybe it is not mandatory for release no. 1.0

Yes, I think it can be good move. Users or even quests feedback is the most 
valuable for our work.
