Sorry, couldn't read it in my linux mail client.

No.

I just had a quick look on the web.  It seems that some of the windows CVS 
clients now come with ssh support.  Here are 2 which I'd try in the following 
order:

1. http://www.wincvs.org
2. http://www.tortoisecvs.org/
