I have not checked this, but it sounds like a reasonable idea.
I'm currently working a CGI script which uses the same logic as
generconfig.sh.
I have a form for editing the config file, then use generpublish.cgi to create
a published document based on the user entered config file.
I hope to be finished an initial version within a week or 2.
