Could we have new GO biological process terms

GO:new L-glutamine biosynthetic process "The chemical reactions and pathways resulting in the formation of L-glutamine, (2S)-2-amino-4-carbamoylbutanoic acid " is_a child of GO:0006542 glutamine biosynthetic process

GO:new L-isoleucine biosynthetic process "The chemical reactions and pathways resulting in the formation of L-isoleucine, (2S,3S)-2-amino-3-methylpentanoic acid" is_a child of GO:0009097 isoleucine biosynthetic process

We want these to annotate biosyntheses in rice, in collaboration with Gramene. Indeed, I expect we'll need such terms for all of the other 19 stereospecific protein amino acids that don't already have them (and I guess people annotating prototrophic bacteria and fungi would want them as well. Is there a piece of GO history I'm missing here?) These two are needed now; others can be requested as we get to those pathways, as usual.

Thanks.

Peter

    Hi Peter,

    Have you tried TermGenie?
    http://go.termgenie.org/

It is very easy to request these terms using TG and you get a GO id right away. If you don't already have a TG username/password, please email the TG helpdesk and you'll get set up.

    http://go.termgenie.org/help/index.html

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Tanya
