Hi,

I'd like a new term please for fungal-type bi-polar cell wall assembly
child of GO:0031505
suggested def: A cellular process that results in the assembly of fungal-type cell wall from the cell tips
ref: 19646873 fig 1L

(is it ok to include the cell tip localization in this def? Otherwise just cell wall assembly thanks)

Antonia.

We don't need this term, but
    GO:0071940 fungal-type cell wall assembly
does not have in its parentage GO:0031505
    fungal-type cell wall organization

    Hi Antonia and Val,

I'll certainly add the is_a link between GO:0071940 fungal-type cell wall assembly and GO:0031505 fungal-type cell wall organization, thanks Val for spotting this. As for the new term name and def, I don't see any similar type of assembly terms in GO, so I'm a bit unsure about that. Would it be possible/appropriate for you to annotate to GO:0071940 fungal-type cell wall assembly, and add occurs_in GO:0051286 cell tip?

    Thanks,
    Paola
