In PMID:22743996, CMA is described as one of the three distinct classes of autophagy - "CMA involves the chaperone Hsc70 and its co-chaperones that recognize and unfold substrate proteins with a KFERQ amino-acid motif. The substrates bind to the lysosomal protein LAMP-2A and are translocated across the lysosomal membrane for degradation"

Possible Definition: The process of directing proteins containing a KFERQ amino-acid motif towards the vacuole, involving the chaperone Hsc70 and its co-chaperones, occurring as part of autophagy, the process in which cells digest parts of their own cytoplasm. The transported proteins bind to the lysosomal protein LAMP-2A and are translocated across the lysosomal membrane for degradation.

Not sure, but might also be child or grand-child of GO:0072321 chaperone-mediated protein transport - but of course this is a rather specialised form of transport process.
