#341 'saved by [name]'

OBO-Edit (271)

This is probably more of a question than a bug...

how do you get the 'saved by name' line at the top of a .obo file that's been saved by OBO-Edit. Mine appears as 'saved by rfoulger' but Paola's doesn't have this line.

format-version: 1.2
date: 09:03:2011 14:52
saved-by: rfoulger
auto-generated-by: OBO-Edit 2.0
subsetdef: goslim_candida "Candida GO slim"

We have our name listed in config/Configuration Manager/User Settings within the tool.

The name for "saved-by" is gotten from the user's environment (System.getProperty("user.name")) unless it is set in the Configuration Manager (if it is, then that setting takes precedence). I tested this and it works for me (and for Becky), so something must be funny in Paola's environment. I suggest that she try removing her oboedit_config and copying yours.

another thing I just noticed: you have to resize the Configuration Manager window (make it bigger) to see the memory and user name setting boxes.

Midori, I had noticed the same thing, and a few days ago I enlarged the Config Manager (you will see this in the next release).
