Hi I use obo edit(2.1 or 2.1.6beta) and installed it on windows 7. When I press any control key (shift, ctrl, alt) obo edit will delete loaded data and make some action. Dialog with title "Progress..." will pop up and in less than 1 sec will dissapear. So I can not work with obo edit in appropriate way. Can you help me?

I'm not sure what's going on here. I and at least one other person have tested on Windows 7 and it worked fine for us. However, I did get another complaint that sounded similar to yours:

I have a student in my office who is trying to use obo-edit on a windows
machine and she is getting some pretty weird behavior. She thinks there is
    a keyboard listener problem.
Whenever she goes to type/edit she gets a window that says "do you want to
proceed, etc etc", the same behavior you get when you go to file and click
'new ontology'. So basically any editing becomes a task of clicking away
    spurious windows.
She tried the most recent beta, and we went back to the last version 2.1 and
it was the same situation. She is using java version 1.6 build 26. She also has java 1.7 on
    her machine.

(I would have suggested upgrading your Java, but it sounds like the other person who's observed this problem has a pretty up-to-date Java.)

One thing to try is to quit OBO-Edit, remove or rename the directory in your oboedit_config (which is usually in C:/your_home_directory/oboedit_config) called perspectives, and then restart OBO-Edit. Stale binary files in oboedit_config/perspectives that are left over from earlier versions of OBO-Edit can cause various strange behaviors. Please let me know whether this helps.

Hi, thanks for reply Nomi. Yeah keyboard listener problem is better name for this problem. Any typing in search box cause this behavior. But the advices did not resolve problem on my notebook. I have latest version of java 1.7.0_02. I deleted whole directory /oboedit_config and let OBO_edit to create a new one. But did not help. We have in office another windows, there it works fine. The problem on my notebook remains
