Hi,
I noticed that a lot of archaeal proteins are getting the GO term 'bacterial-type flagellum’.
The source of this annotations is listed as UniProtKB-KWs. For example:
http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P27805
http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P57719
http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P13077
http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P13078
It might be worth considering the term 'GO:0097589 archaeal-type flagellum’ for these
proteins.
Alex
Hi Elisabeth,
I updated the mapping from KW-0974 archae flagellum to GO:0097589, archael flagellum.
Please note this tracker is not being used anymore (and monitored only once a week automatically), please send further GOA queries directly to goa@ebi.ac.uk.
Kind regards,
Melanie
