Resource Tracking

This page serves as a guide for keeping track of lab machines available for running jobs.

gencl-helper/trunk/Resource Tracking/Lab Resources.xlsx is a spreadsheet for tracking which lab PCs are available to run jobs on. It has the following columns:

• Machine- identifier for the given PC
• Job- Job currently running on the PC
• Job Owner- Person who ran the job currently running on the PC
• Status- status of the job on the PC
• Estimated time of completion- estimated time that the PC will be open for use by another person
• Queue- List of users/jobs to be run on the PC upon completion of the current job

Every time a PC is used for a long-term job, this spreadsheet should be updated so we know what lab PCs are available for running experiments.
