Not this message for PNG or BMP. When i use "Select an object" Tool and move a picture (PNG or BMP), a portion of the bitmap stay duplicated at the first place on the frame. If i try to export in format like 1024 x 1080, the AVI i get is unable to be played by Gom player or Windows Player... The icon for Eraser is a Hand in the Menu Tools... Thanks for your Job ! Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7580903 By: nobody I think you should join and develop together a roadmap. Please consider putting together a developer community. Two one-man projects are not as strong as a joint project lead by two with a developer community. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7567951 By: nobody This is just my opinion, of course. But, it is very surprising that the original developer has asked for your help. Surely, they have examined your philosophy. So, perhaps they are therefore willing to compromise on the direction. I think that is the worst thing about open-source. So many forks may eventually lead to the best solution, but so much work is lost. If only there was no fork and just aligned hard-working developers. Good luck, and either way, thank you for your work. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7482953 By: ronan123 Hi, Mj Mendoza.. Fist of all, thanks for software (, as well as Pascal). I'm having probs with my animations. For ex, i create a 150 frames- anim, playback at for example 12, but export to avi creates a 5 seconds avi. How do i keep the framrate speed on the avi the same as in the program? Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7429483 By: nobody Hi, Currently, we're using Ming which also supports basic AS2 commands. Once Gnash starts to support AS3, we might opt to use Adobe's OpenFlex SDK. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7378612 By: nobody I was trying to build an IDE for the Flash development; it's still active and it's actually a GUI for the SWFC compiler. But Clash is a better project than mine. Unfortunately I'm not an expert in graphical programming, so I think I cannot contribute directly to the software, but I can do two suggestions, in order to make it more similar to Adobe Flash: 1st: A tool for drawing circles and squares. 2nd: A tool for building interactive buttons, with ActionScript support. The 1st suggestion looks me easy to implement, since Clash has currently much more complex functions than this. For the 2nd suggestion, I would like to suggest to look to the open source SWFC compiler (http://www.swftools.org), which uses the .sc format (documentation in: http://wiki.swftools.org/index.php/Sc_file_format); perhaps the developers will like to use it in some way. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7228196 By: nobody I suggest you cooperate with the Pencil project, I can see its potential, and it already has a community that gives it a plus. Perhaps you can add ur scripting features to Pencil ? that would be amazing if u did, imagine one day we have an open-source toonboom rival with both rastering and vectoring capabilities ... Just some ideas ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=6563914 By: creek23 I was thinking about that too... merge some of the improvements of Clash to Pencil and keep a separate development for Clash. But that would sound like a lot of work for the both of us. Then again, I guess you are right. If Pascal and I will be steering the boat, we might end up nowhere. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=6557504 By: nobody I think, you already made up your mind. You want to roll your own project and you want to steer the ship in your own direction. If you can life with a compromise, you could help pascal. But maybe you can do your own project (Clash) as much as you want and help pascal from time to time a little bit. I hope, that pascal will become more active with developing pencil. Enough community is already there, as i have seen in the forum. Pencil has already made a great start! If you decide to develop clash (as i hope) to what you have in mind, it should be easy for pascal to get the code changes into pencil, because the basis is still pencil. You both must have a clear vision, what you want to accomplish with your projects. You have to write down some kind of "vision" what pencil and what clash should become in the future (version 1.0). A Roadmap. hope this helps Stefan von Halenbach ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=6554295 By: creek23 Pascal (original developer of Pencil) is asking me to help improve Pencil. I'd love to but Pencil is meant to be a traditional animation program. I wanted Clash to be the modern animation program with scripting capability -- simply put, a free and open source Flash. I'd like to ask your opinions. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I haven't look at the compression problem of Ming. I will later. Got really busy at work. Thanks for following Clash's development. The ActionScript Editor is done (as standalone), it still needs to be integrated inside Clash. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=6495987 By: nobody I just want to say, that i follow the development of clash, because i find it very interesting. I think you should change the directory for temporary files in linux.cpp from pencil to clash and the output .ogg to .ogv because Theora-video should be saved this way, to make it visually different from the ogg-vorbis music-files. Also i think the export of flash has still a little bug, because the compression seems to not work as expected. I think the value 0 or 1 is wrong. I think it must be a value between 0 and 100. I am no coder, so please look for yourself. vonHalenbach ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
